Meet Philip Mitchell – PMHR

Philip’s passion is human resources and recruitment.

PMHR was created as he wanted share his experience and knowledge with small to medium-sized businesses to help navigate and grow in an ever-changing employment environment. Philip’s vision is to build business relationships where he can add value and help build better leaders and organizations.

Over the course of his career, Philip have been fortunate to build a unique blend of Human Resource and Operational knowledge that has allowed him to be highly effective in organizational design, full-cycle recruitment, performance management, training and development, equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, and policy creation and implementation.

With over 25 years of experience, he has been fortunate to help organizations in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors and bring international experience from Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Canada.

He currently holds a designation as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), a diploma in Front line Management, and various industry-specific training and designations.

Philip resides in West Kelowna with his family and has a small acreage, and plays "Masters" rugby.
